Pinnacle Security Office Makes a Wish Come True
Pinnacle Security's Securing Hope initiative worked with the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Kansas to grant the wish of a young girl to meet Disney's Princesses at the Florida theme parks in the coming months.
"We are so pleased to be able to work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas to make this child's wish a reality," said Kelly Walker, CEO, Pinnacle Security. "Make-A-Wish is a wonderful organization with such a meaningful mission and we were honored to be able to grant a child's wish and throw a party to celebrate."
The Make-A-Wish Foundation's Adopt-A-Wish program partners with corporations and organizations to grant wishes to the many children it serves. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas was chartered in 1984 and in the past 27 years has been able to grant over 1,090 wishes for children in Kansas.
Pinnacle Security's Securing Hope initiative dedicates funds, time and resources to various causes across the U.S. and overseas. In this instance, the idea came from McKay Selph, one of Pinnacle Security's Regional Managers, who was moved to act when he heard Makenna's story.
"Working within our community is very important to us and goes hand-in-hand with helping people secure their homes and families. It's what we do," said McKay. "But to be able to see the light in Makenna's eyes when she found out her wish was going to come true…that was indescribable."
Once McKay became involved with Make-A-Wish, 25 of Pinnacle's West Kansas office Security Consultants, and their spouses, stepped in to help make the wish come true. "I can't imagine how difficult it would be for that family and we all wanted to do everything possible to help. The fact that Pinnacle has created a program to support this kind of initiative from employees and stepped up to sponsor the celebration party shows how seriously we feel about the communities we serve."
At the Wish Celebration party, supporters from Pinnacle had the opportunity to meet the Scott family and present them with a check for $5,000. The event was held at the local public library in Dodge City, Kansas on the 26th of May.

Testimonials
I'm a single mom with a young daughter, so keeping us safe is paramount. Not only do I go to sleep each night knowing the alarm will awaken me if something is amiss, but I count on the peace of mind afforded to me by the fire alarm, the medical alert option, and the voice of our system whenever my little one manages to escape through one of the doors as I try to get a load of laundry in the washer. I simply could not imagine life without this security system!
- Susana C.
I am thankful for Pinnacle Security for saving my life. I had a heart attack in the middle of the night and pushed the panic button on my alarm. Thanks to my alarm help came very quickly and they saved my life. I am so very thankful for having Pinnacle in my home for the last 2 years!
- Sue N.
Recently my husband was admitted to the hospital for several days. It was a great peace of mind to me and our son to know we were entering a safe home every night when we came back from the hospital. It's a little different when you always depend on the man of the house being there and making you feel safe and all of a sudden he's not there. It was great knowing the security system was the "Man of the House" while my husband was unable to be there. Thanks for that peace of mind.
- Pat F.
