UPDATE: “Pinnacle: Securing Hope” Program to Hold Food Drive to Benefit the Community Action Food Bank

Company Invites the Public to Bring Donations; 1320 KFAN Radio to Broadcast From Pinnacle Headquarters

OREM, UT-(December 7, 2010) - Pinnacle Security, a leader in the North American residential security market, today announced, as part of its philanthropic initiative “Pinnacle: Securing Hope,” it is holding a food drive to benefit the Community Action Food Bank, the second largest food bank in Utah. The food drive began Saturday, December 4 and will go through December 9.

Pinnacle Security invites the public to join them in support of the food bank by bringing donations to Pinnacle Security headquarters at 1290 Sandhill Road in Orem.
1320 KFAN Radio will hold a live remote from the Pinnacle Security headquarters on Wednesday, December 8 from 1-3pm to encourage donations to the food bank. There will be prizes including tickets to the Utah Jazz game that evening where they will play the Miami Heat.

“The difficult economic environment has created an increased need that we hope to help address,” said Stuart Dean, Vice President of Communications, Pinnacle Security. “With many more families looking to food banks to help them through the season, we knew the Community Action Food Bank was a place Pinnacle could provide some relief. We are proud to be able to continue our ‘Pinnacle: Securing Hope’ program with this food drive.”

Pinnacle Security’s “Pinnacle: Securing Hope” program was formalized this fall to give additional structure and support to activities already in progress. Since that time, Pinnacle has collected funds through employee donations as well as hosting a 5K race to benefit Sustain Haiti, a locally-based NGO that provides financial assistance as well as rebuilding teams in Haiti. Additionally, employees have recently returned from a service trip to Honduras where teams helped build several homes, install electricity and plant trees.
