THE 3 LINES OF DEFENSE
Every home should be equipped with three lines of defense. The first line is made up of exterior deterrents like our Yard Sign and Window Stickers. These should repel the majority of intruders simply by announcing the presence of a monitored home security system. The second line of defense covers the perimeter with door and window sensors or glass break detectors. If an intruder attempts to enter through one of these protected zones, the sensor will send a signal to the panel, triggering the alarm. The third line of defense covers the interior with devices like motion sensors or image sensors. If someone is able to get past perimeter defenses without setting off the alarm, the infrared heat detection of these interior sensors will catch them.

WHEN THE ALARM GOES OFF
If your alarm is triggered, it will send an immediate signal to the panel, sounding the alarm. This piercing siren should not only disorient and scare the intruder, but may alert neighbors and passersby to the situation. Simultaneously the system will send a message to the monitoring station using the landline connection or a cellular card built into the panel. From there, the Monitoring Agents will activate the panel's built in speaker and demand the intruder identify themselves, and will listen for movement, struggles or breaking glass using the built in microphone. The agents are trained to listen for sounds that indicate an actual emergency and report this information in real time to the authorities, dramatically improving emergency response time.

MORE THAN JUST SECURITY
We don't just provide security solutions, though. Many of our customers invest in extra sensors that give them even more knowledge over what goes on in their home, like medical pendants, smoke and fire detectors, or carbon monoxide detectors. Flood sensors could stop a broken water heater from flooding a basement, and freeze sensors can alert you to conditions that might burst the pipes under your home. Add to these the energy saving capabilities of an emPower thermostat and you'll truly have a security solution that provides peace of mind at every point.

At Pinnacle Security we understand that a system you forget to arm will not secure your home . That's why we encourage everyone to arm their system as often as possible. Whether you are leaving for work in the morning, going to bed at night, or just staying home during the day, keeping the system activated allows us to monitor and protect you, but you need to do your part so we can do ours. To make this even easier we have user-friendly control options, like the keychain remote or the popular Touchscreen Keypad. Whether you choose to arm your system from the panel itself, or from your Mobile Control app on your smartphone, you'll have complete control over how, where, and when you activate your system.

CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY
Over the past 10 years our security offering has grown from simple door sensors and motion detectors to a full home security solution, and today's technology is more capable than ever before. Our Mobile Control service not only let's you arm and disarm your system remotely, but you can view your alarm status and history, add and modify user codes on the fly, and even see what's going on inside your home using devices like the image sensor or our live video cameras. These affordable surveillance solutions will automatically record during alarm events, providing you with a window into your home, improving your ability to prevent false alarms and to help you identify intruders. The Mobile Control service also allows you to receive alerts via text or e-mail for things like power outages, alarm events, or simply when a user disarms the system with their code. And with the customizable arming reminders, you'll never forget to arm your system.

SOME THINGS IN LIFE SHOULD BE A GIVEN

LIFETIME MAINTENANCE PROGRAM***
We guarantee every system we install. Should you ever require service due to ordinary wear and tear, we will repair or replace your equipment free of charge. You can be confident that your system will work properly throughout the term of agreement. This program is in effect as long as you pay your monthly monitoring.

CUSTOMER RELOCATION PROGRAM**
You have a great security system installed in your home, and you love the peace of mind it brings you, but now you�re moving. There�s no need to worry. Before you start packing, call our Customer Service 877-746-7233 to find out which relocation plan meets your needs. Once you leave, be sure to let the new resident in your previous home know how much you loved having the system. Have them call us to activate it, we want to make sure they are secured as well..

HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE DISCOUNT* This installation of your security system may entitle you to discounts on your homeowners insurance. You should check with your insurance agent or broker to determine if you are eligible and for details.

"LIFETIME MAINTENANCE PROGRAM*** There will be no charge for all repairs and service on defective equipment within the first 90 days of ownership. Thereafter, there will be a $25.00 trip fee for all warrantied items. CUSTOMER RELOCATION PROGRAM* Should you move to a new location within 12 months of the start of your agreement you will only be charged $99.00 for the installation of a new 6 point alarm system at your new residence and your agreement will continue to term. After 12 months from the start of your agreement the installation fee will be waived for a new 6 point alarm system; however, you will be required to sign a new agreement. (Note: Approval of a move is subject to confirmation of service availability at the new location. HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE DISCOUNT* Discounts are dependant on homeowner�s insurance company.
